imbaaak asked: There are many types of beer of course but what are the basic ingredients the go into making, say an ale for example? I have a Mr Beer kit and am curious to find out if the ingredients that come in packages can be obtained at the local grorcery store. FYI, I live next to hop fields in the Pacific Northwest.

Lebanese_sxc asked: I only mixed the basic ingredients (yeast, water, non-alcoholic beer- and sugar) and after 2 days (now) I tasted it and it tastes lyk alcohol and it did give my throat a burn so does this mean its ready to be filtered?
