brut44 asked: have a case of Natty Ice beer (given to me), and I must say-IT IS THE WORST TASTING BEER EVER!, albeit free. I want to get drunk, so how can I make this horrible tasting beer go down smoother? Any ideas? Seriously. The best I can do is pour a cold can in a glass and drink. If I put it in a glass I might forget what I’m drinking. lol I don’t have tomato juice, but I do have imitation lemon juice.

Tagged with Drunk, Ground Ginger, Liquid Yeast
John D asked: so i’m in 9th grade, and currently working on a civil war project. i was thinking about bringing in a drink that they drank during one of the battles, and this is what i came to.
“confederate ginger beer”
in a 4 quart pot, combine 1 pint of molasses and 2 spoonfuls of ground ginger. add 2 quarts of boiling water and stir. then add 2 quarts of cold water. add 1 pint of liquid yeast when the beer has cooled to lukewarm. cover and store in a warm place overnight, and then bottle.
so the 2 main ingredients that i’m concerned about are the yeast and the molasses. i know that yeast eats sugars (molasses) and produces biproducts such as CO2 and alcohol.
now, i don’t want a class full of underage drinkers… would my drink be alcholic?
i asked my teacher nd he’s cool so he said that its ok. as long as i bring it in a bottle that won’t explode from the pressure.
also, is it legal?
